Liverpool to sign another defensive midfielder?

Liverpool could sign another defensive midfielder when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Reds were busy in the summer and they spent on four midfielders in Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister.
Out of the quartet, Endo, Mac Allister and Gravenberch can play in holding midfield, but Jurgen Klopp is still eyeing another addition to the first-team squad.
The Reds were in talks with Fluminense to sign Andre last summer, but the Brazilian giants made it clear that he was not for sale at the halfway stage of the season.
This is likely to change when their season concludes and the Reds are prepared to pounce on his services soon.
Fluminense could demand around €25 million for the 22-year-old, who dreams of playing in the Premier League.
Manchester United and Newcastle United are also admirers of the highly-rated defensive midfielder from Brazil.
Liverpool may have the edge, having spoken with the player’s representatives for some period of time.
